From Davis Ecstasy To World Cup Woes: Canada’s win, despite and ratings as Croatia defeat shatters Qatar dreams.

Another Tough Lesson For Canada’s Youth Team as it Crashed Out of the World Cup after just two matches. As seen, voices echoed all around the Khalifa International Stadium (which is in Dubai, Qatar). There were also many spectators who still had not got their seating sheets, but even if the pitch was not visible, they were waiting impatiently for the moment when Alfonso and Canada made history.

From Davis Ecstasy To World Cup Woes

With just one minute left in Sunday’s group stage clash with Croatia, Canada seemed to have learned their lesson by now after losing 1-0 to Belgium in their opening match. . They were of no use at that time or rather useless but today they will prove themselves to be good. The crowd erupted as Davies headed in Tajan Buchanan’s cross, Canada scoring their first ever World Cup goal and on top.

Now it looks like the experienced Canadian team learned a bitter lesson on Sunday. Facing a team that could prove to be the best in this tournament match going the distance. And Canada’s naïveté, on and off the field, was on full display, which has now shattered the dream of winning the World Cup.

The Cro-Asia went to the fore in the closing stages and dominated the 89 minutes or so that followed Davis’ heroic opener. Also it ended 4–1 with two goals from Andrej Kramarić and one each from Mark Livaja and Lovro Major. Still, Cro-Asia has a lot that Team Canada does not. They may be down on speed because they have the knowledge, experience, and skill, but they have the brains and now they have Luka Modric, a game-changer in how and where to play the game. Might decide this is the best we’ve ever played.

Now talking about Canada, Canada doesn’t have any of these, it’s just work and work at the moment. It may be that they don’t have any monetary of their own, however any would be nice. But as 2026 sneaks its own world, Canada has been taught another bitter lesson about the use of playing the game. From Davis Ecstasy To Win.

The Winners Alphonso Davies:- Alphonso Davies was left in a slightly vulnerable position after missing a bit against Belgium. It can be said that it had an effect on him. He didn’t look like himself when Thibaut Courtois pushed his spot kick wide, just like Alphonso Davies against Cro-Asia. They looked well prepared, agile and dynamic. And it didn’t take him long to deliver the goal Canadians had probably waited their entire lives for. It only took a minute to wait for Davis to rattle the back of the net at Khalifa Stadium (Qatar, Dubai), sending the crowd and the Canadian team into a frenzy. It’s only fair to say that Canada’s first male superstar scored the country’s first ever male World Cup goal. It was bound to happen, he didn’t get a second, but he did a good job of taking Canada to the lead several times. But saying so is more about the work and his wink than it is about his performance. They may have lost, but they will be remembered for a long time. With the abolition of Canada, the road to 2026 begins, and by answering his initial defeat, Davis is determined to return his country to this position in four years. From Davis Ecstasy To.

Cro-Asia’s old guard: The 2018 World runners-up looked out of date against Morocco. They looked a lot like the team that stole the hearts of many spectators at that final in Russia, instead they looked like a group that would recreate the same magic four years later in Qatar. Will be unable to make from. A win over Canada is not big enough for a state to be crowned champions, but at the same time it was a good sign for Cro-Asia to see their familiar players step up. The midfield trio was… well, the midfield trio. We all know why Luka Modric is going to meet Marcelo Brozovic and Mateo Kovacic several times. All three of them are confident and all three of them know what will be asked of them in a World Cup setting. But now as it looks they will go just one level higher than Canada and still there are tough choices waiting to be made.

Lady Kramrik: What a performance from the Hoffenheim forwards. Kramrik scored only two shots, was dangerous in the box for Ro-Asia, who didn’t waste his many good chances in a 4-1 win. . The 32-year-old forward was nowhere near this effective full-back in 2018, scoring just one goal in seven appearances as a part-time player. And after a scoreless draw with Morocco, there was some question as to where Croatia would get their goals. But they learned from Kramaric that the Croats would need to score more to make another run.

Loser Atiba Hutchinson:- Hutchinson will turn 40 this coming February. He is a well-known figure in Canada and yet, a key member of the national team. But he looked his age against Croatia. Facing perhaps the dominant midfield in international football, Hutchinson was off his pace as Modric, Kovacic and Brozovic danced around Canada’s two-man midfield. On the other hand, it is being defeated by Croatia? There’s no shame in that, but Hutchinson’s worst moment at the time was entirely preventable. That’s when he fell asleep at the wheel of the opener from Kramrik, who failed to track his run to end up as a simple finish. At halftime, he was released as Steven Eustaquio was sacrificed, probably due to injury. Two games in four days is a huge challenge for Hutchinson’s age. It is an even bigger challenge against Croatia. It probably wasn’t the right call.

John Herdman:- Back in Croatia, the pregame talk was the Canadian coach and his comments. After narrowly losing to Belgium, Herdman was heard calling his players to “f*** Croatia”, and the opposition did not take it too lightly. They mocked the Herdman and his… manhood, which is why they put him in the spotlight before this match. And it all fell apart for the Canadian and their coach. Losing to Croatia is not their fault, but the way they lost was somewhat preventable. Because playing a two-man midfield that included a 39-year-old on four days’ rest was a risk. It didn’t work. And, as it became clear that it wasn’t working, Herdman tried to get his team to halftime before making changes. But it did not work. By the time Canada got there, it was 2–1 and the game was almost over. Herdman is a brilliant manager who has revolutionized Canadian football. Players and spectators love him and would run through a wall for him. Some other nation or club will love him someday. But on Sunday it went wrong and now it is Croatia’s turn to enjoy at their expense.

Jonathan David:- This tournament looked like it could be Jonathan David’s coming out party. The talented Lille forward, only 22 years old, is destined for the top, and it was his time to show it to a worldwide audience that hadn’t seen it before. However, the audience is yet to see the best of David’s performance as he hasn’t brought it to Qatar. David was almost invisible for Canada throughout their loss to Croatia, having struggled in the Belgium game as well. He had a good chance, a shot that was fired over the bar by Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livkovic, but other than that, was anonymous. It’s a shame too, because David is so good. He is often overshadowed by Davis and someday, he will join his countryman by playing for one of the best clubs in the world. He hasn’t been at that level in Qatar, though, and he’ll have one more game against Morocco to show for it.

Canada Ratings: Defense:-

  • Milan Borjan (8/10): -A variety of brilliant saves were made to improve the score line even further.
  • Alphonso Davies (7/10):- Certainly got the goal early on, and made some curvaceous runs through midfield. Never came too close to another before everything was over, but he looked the most likely to make it.
  • Kamal Miller (3/10):- Was good in the opener, but lost sleep over Croatia’s blunder coming in the fourth. He had pushed Modric just minutes earlier and it looked like the gods of football had punished him for a terrible mistake.
  • Steven Vitoria (4/10):- Seen as out of position many times. Defense needed to be perfect, and Vitoria was far from it.
  • Alistair Johnston (4/10):- Made some good tackles but was very sloppy inside and outside the ball. Maybe it’s not the system for that.
  • Richie Laryea (6/10):- With Canada still only one goal down in the second six months to feature a formation switch. Was probably the only defender who could feel okay about his performance.

Midfield:-

  • Steven Eustaquio (6/10):- Was the better of the two midfielders in the first half. But there was a setback in the middle, probably because of the knock.
  • Atiba Hutchinson (3/10):- Croatia lost Kramaric to equalise. Just couldn’t stop the Croat from running wild. Deserved his moment in the spotlight with his country, but it looked like he was not made for this game.

Attack:

  • Jonathan David (4/10):- He was not seen until after he forced a save from Levakovic in the second half. And that was another depressing day about it.
  • Cyle Larin (6/10):- In the beginning, the share of goals was underestimated, but after that the game did not get much. pulled at halftime to bring in an extra midfielder.
  • Tajon Buchanan (6/10):-Active and energetic once again, putting Croatia on the backfoot at times. Didn’t quite track back, however, but looked to have further exposed a midfield that needed all the help they could get.

Subs & Manager

  • Jonathan Osorio (6/10):- Completely stopped the Croatian tidal wave, which had receded until it was over.
  • Ismael Kone (7/10):- Another bad time for the young midfielder, who actually looked really good against Croatia’s stars. Build around that for the next decade, Canada.
  • Junior Hoilett (6/10):-Some good looks after Larin was dropped in the early going. His shot could not come out of Croatia’s defence.
  • Lucas Cavallini (N/A):- Replaced David, but didn’t add too much.
Sam Adekugbe: (N/A)- By the time he arrived the play had already been completed.

John Herdman (4/10):-Now it looks like his team was ready to play as the opening goal showed, but the World Cup needs more than just vibes. The selection of the midfield was questionable, as he was unable to react once it became clear how bad it all was.
